The world’s finest pipe bands will descend upon Glasgow Green to do battle for the World Pipe Band Championships. This a particularly busy time for R.G. Hardie with pipers from across the globe visiting us to see how we craft our range of the World’s finest bagpipes. We are pleased to announce we are the official sponsor of the “Pipes of Peace” concert organised by Jason Prentice from the well known band Celtc Spirit.
This years show promises to be the best yet featuring seven time World Champions Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band, Canadian band Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band and the pop piping and drumming group Celtic Spirit. Master of Ceremonies is the BBC World’s commentator Bob Worrall of Canada.
The concert takes place at the SECC on Thursday 9th August 2012 and tickets can be purchased at the SECC box office from the 25th of January 2012.
